Buck-O-Nine Live dates in 2019!!
Buck-O-Nine has some fun shows coming up in October 2019! See you soon Long Beach, Ventura, Hollywood and Fullerton!
We are super stoked to play the Cranking and Skanking Fest 2019! A huge thank you to The Mighty Mighty Bosstones for having us! Looking forward to seeing old friends Voodoo Glowskulls & Amazing Royal Crowns. Hope to see you there!
Buck-O-Nine to be featured in the upcoming documentary “Pick It Up,” which chronicles the third-wave of ska. Here’s an article in the San Diego Reader.
Makers of the documentary Pick It Up! Ska In The 90s recently waged a quite successful Kickstarter campaign. The filmmakers set-out to crowdsource a rather modest $40,000 and (as of early August) have nearly tripled that goal with over $118,000 in funds.
The film chronicles what most have come to regard as the “third-wave” of ska. Bands that fall into this category include Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, No Doubt, Hepcat, and San Diego’s very own Buck-O-Nine. Lead singer Jon Pebsworth was interviewed for the film and appears in the trailer for the documentary.
Buck-O-Nine shows later this month! We are playing at House of Blues San Diego on 8/31 and House of Blues Anaheim on 9/1.
Both shows featuring
Goldfinger (Headlining)
Buck-O-Nine
The Suicide Machines
Suburban Legends
Grab Tix! They are going fast. See you there!

In January we’ll be doing a run of shows through California, Phoenix & Vegas with Mustard Plug! Fun fact, the first time we played with those guys was in 1996! Found that on their website. We’ve played with them a bunch of times since. Always a good time!!
